Hello, and welcome to our guitar rising UK fan site. For those of you that don’t know what guitar rising is, it’s a video game similar to the guitar hero series - which is basically holding a ‘guitar controller’ instead of an ordinary one and hitting the right notes on the guitar as they come up on the screen… much like a dance mat scenario. Well, Guitar Rising is different. Here’s why:

Guitar Rising isn’t played with some guitar shaped controller… it’s played with a real guitar. So you take your guitar, plug it in, load guitar rising, and you’re away. We think it’s going to be a fantastic way to learn guitar for guitar newbies, and a good challenge for those seasoned guitar pros out there.

The game is expected to be available on PC and MAC, we’re not sure about the consoles yet… or the prices. We’re thinking they’ll have packs, like the game and a USB guitar all in one… we’re not sure. Let’s wait and see…Be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed so you don’t miss a thing
